THE REASON WHY I'M QUITTING LEAGUE

I worked so hard last season to make it to silver, I played over 700 games in ranked and finally got out. I was pretty proud of my self, and it sucks to know that after all that game time Riot puts me back in elo hell AKA BRONZE. I was Silver 5 went 6-4 on my placements and was placed bronze 2 also, the reason why I lost those 4 was because of trolls I did good in every game I played.... like seriously in those games I would get a top laner and a jungler that didn't even have smite both went 0-9.... what is the point of playing ranked and doing all that work to get placed lower than what you climbed to.... I know for a fact I am not a bronze player and I did not deserve to be put back in..... not happy about this at all thanks riot for your shit competitive gameplay. I'm out.

                                                                                             *[zombie-brand-facepalm]* *[zombie-brand-facepalm]* *[zombie-brand-facepalm]* *[zombie-brand-facepalm]*

You people are insane you are literally eating what crack cocaine Riot is feeding you and you are happy about it. Think about it you climb to a certain level where you are playing people who are your equals and match making is its most fun. It takes you hundreds of hours to get there.

Then in the new season Riot knocks you back to a place where you shouldn't be and you are happy and proud to spend hundreds or dozens of hours climbing back out just so you can get back to a place where you should be located at in the first place.

You are riding a never ending treadmill and riot knocks you back to the beginning every so often just to keep you chasing their carrot and playing their game. And you are totally stockholm syndromed and creating a social acceptance group that makes you feel that this is fun. And if you complain then the social group of players addicted to this system come charging to Riot's defense to make you feel lazy, or not good enough so you want to play more to become better again.

Its insane. Riot is using reward addictive programming to make you play their game more and more and more and more so you can never get enough so you never stop. And you can't see it.

Thats how the ranked seasons work, not like bronze is hard to get out of. The real elohell is platinum.

you climbed once, you can climb again. this time it should be even faster.

well the game is changed so whatever made you silver last season isnt the same this season.

hence the reset of rank each season and redoing placement games.

people who one trick a broken champs can climb for a while til a meta shift. buffs to counters, nerfs to their champ and whatever else changes that effects them directly or indirectly and they wont be as high as they were one tricking the same no longer OP champ

you must learn and adapt as the game changes and find what you can do to climb and maybe what you can exploit in your favor to make it easier.

Your performance in the match has no bearing on your placement, and the placement matches themselves don't do much if you were ranked before. You were placed in Bronze because of where your MMR was and the soft MMR reset; dropping a full tier is expected with the soft reset, everybody had to deal with this every season (unless it's their first one).

If you are a Silver player then all you have to do is be better than the Bronze players in your games and you'll climb. Focus on improving yourself, not worrying about a low placement that should've been expected.

it was same thing for me, if you play enough games you should get outta bronze no problem man, just find at least one decent duo buddy and you can climb man, i have the faith
