Something the community overlooked with the Morde rework...

We keep hearing the same ol' thing about ADC Morde.

What if the intention of Mordekaiser wasn't to encourage him to take the place of the ADC in the botlane... But instead, to be a toplaner?

And instead of having a jungler, teams can more viably opt to 2-1-2 if they wish to?

Junglers are too strong. On toplane, Morde+support can zone enemy toplaner from farm but he will have his exp, and their jungler will have a freefarm from 2 jungles.

I had a thought about a flipped top/bot, but that is looney tunes.

Why would you put Mordekaiser, who has a passive on his ultimate that gives you a massive advantage when he takes dragon, on the lane farthest from dragon?

Top Morde may be able to work, but in a standard 1v1. Morde's best lane IS bot lane, or maybe a duo mid. Plus, they already stated that they want morde to go bot lane. Also, ADCs have other viable lanes to go to.

AHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA...

Oh, wait, you were serious?

No, you're giving up too much by giving up your jungler. You're losing an entire lane of farming (while giving the enemy jungler access to that lane of farming) as well as losing global map pressure and likely objective pressure for the first 15 minutes at least.

All for a trade off that would likely lead to a lot of pretty easy 2v2 ganks into top lane AGAINST the Mordekaiser because Morde is about as mobile as a wingless duck.
