The Ranked System Needs a Reboot

Now by no means am I saying I'm a God of League of Legends, but I generally do better than the majority of people in Silver, but more times than not I'm drawing the short end of the stick.

I wish there was a way to rank people based on their independent performance and find it unfair that my skill as a player is being determined by 9 random strangers in a game. I know it's a team game, but I am leagues ahead of some of these guys in Silver, not sure how I'm getting matched with people that appear new to the game.

I'm currently in S1 at the moment and have been in two series for Gold V, failing both. Maybe I'm just being whiney, I just feel I'm being screwed here... Maybe I'll just do what everyone else does and buy a platinum account...

Are you getting queued against Plat players? I was Silver 1 and queued vs Dia soloque players. It was miserable, because they were obviously so much better than me.

That said, it is hard to say I should climb because I am better than X-silver player. When I had to beat Gold players to rank up. I wish the system was changed so I only had to play vs silver to rank up to gold... unfortunately that isn't how MMR works in Lol.

*for the record since you are S1 in promos. I failed 5 or 6 promos. I deranked 2(3 if you count going to silver3) times. Before I finally broke out and ranked up. And I was off and on playing people from Silver up to Diamond. It was frustrating waiting for my MMR to get fixed (one smurf really seemed to throw everything off for me).

Just buy coaching from LS instead.

Been there my friend. Getting matched with players not in the same league as me. Just hang in there, play hypercarry champs and try to carry the games. (stop playing volibear hes bad right now)
