I've absolutely had with Dianna. I used to think she was just another bursty assassin who could snowball really hard when fed, but I'm really starting to think she is just broken as hell. My reason for saying this is because of Dianna's kit is freaking insane at being able to dive in on an enemy team kill a carry AND still be able to live. Why can she live through this onslaught? I'll tell you, One her ult allows her the ability to jump straight to the backline, or any target she so choses. Not to mention the damn thing can be reset while using it with her q, besides having an insanely low cooldown to begin with. 2 she can survive a lot of damage with her shields, they do both damage and give her a health buffer. And then lets not forget to mention her E which pulls enemies in. So basically this is the run down of it. She can engage very quickly and repeatedly, Her shield buff is way too OP. I thought she was an assassin not a bruiser? Oh ya and even if you do have CC she can just pull you in and interrupt your CC before you can use it.

HMMM. I distinctly remember a few nerfs to some other champions cause riot realized they where way too overpowering with no way to counteract to them. Leblanc & Talon both don't have silence anymore. Akali's W got changed from a Armor and Magic resists buff to a speed buff for the same reasons i've listed here.

Diana is the kind of champ that has practically 0 solo carry potential even when ahead (unless she's really stupidly ahead, then which, you deserve to lose). She was suppose to be an AP bruiser, but people prefer to play her as an assassin. What is she good at? Insta-bursting squishies and hoping she can walk out alive. Diana has no escapes asides from summoner 4. If she's strolling out of your team every time, you're the ones at fault. She's squishy AF when built glass cannon, even with her 2 shields. Plus, Diana is a complete mana whore. A couple rotations and she'll be OoM. You can't just spam Q+R all day and expect to be fine.

Diana is strong against assassins because she can burst faster than they can. But you've completely disregarded that fact that she's melee and her pre-6 is absolute shit. The range of her E is pretty crappy, especially for a skill that doesn't even do damage. If she gets camped in lane, she become absolutely useless.

Also. Her pull in doesn't affect your CC at all. A draw in is not going to interrupt an Annie Q. It's not going to interrupt Morg's ult. It's not going to interrupt Blitz's hook. Or his ult. I don't know what your talking about, but "her E is interrupting my CC" is bullshit. It's not like she has any other form of CC asides from the draw in and a slow.

If you want to complain about someone with too much burst and safety, go complain about Leblanc or Kat. Diana has so much less safety compared to those two assassins.

Diana's weaknesses that are left out here:

  1. Diana is a binary champion that has no escape abilities. Either you die, or she dies. Or both. That works too.
  2. Her ultimate only resets when she uses it to dash to a target afflicted by moonlight (targets hit by her Q). Her Q is a slow moving skillshot that travels in a predictable curve. And, apologies about being very, very blunt here, Riot can't help you if you're just wandering into skillshots. Dodging abilities is a key part of LoL. That's why skillshots even exist in the game.
  3. Diana has a pretty terrible pre-6, much like Akali. She relies on her ultimate to be effective in any way. Only difference, as stated above, is that Akali is point and click. Diana has to land her Q. If you are unable to punish Diana's pre-6 game, then (again, I'm being blunt here) you have displayed a shocking lack of strategic mindedness.
  4. Her ultimate is an extremely dangerous ability to use, because, unlike Maokai's Twisted Advance, Diana is still targetable during her dash. This means she can be easily interrupted with peel and CC. RIP any Diana playing against a decent Janna, or any disengage oriented champion, for that matter. If CC is not being saved for a fed Diana (I mean, Diana is a snowball champ, has to be fed to be really, really effective) then a severe lack of tactical ability is being demonstrated... again, something Riot is unable to help you with.

And I could go on and on, but you get the idea. Just like any other champion in LoL, she has strengths and weaknesses. You can complain about her strengths and hope that Riot will squash anything that makes a champion actually decent, or you can learn a champions weaknesses, and then laugh at their faces when they complain about how whatever champion you're playing is broken as all hell. And by the way, your whole "her E interrupts my CC" thing is a pretty weird thing to say, because I can't think of a single channeled CC ability in the game. Someone point one out to me. Please.

I played her some time ago a lot, and all what i could say is: Diana + item 3006 + item 3115 +item 3027 + item 3001 +item 3089 +item 3157 = Broken bruiser with good dps and godlike burst damage and mobility. And the tanks cannot do nothing, because her shield makes her immune to tanks damage anyway.

First Diana is an AP bruiser.

Maybe that will help you understand her more.
