I'm confused as to why I have been seeing Deathfire on Lux recently. I don't know if its some new meta thing for her or i just put against this kinda weird stuff but like 75% of the time i face a Lux they have Deathfire. Whats everyone input on this? Has it suddenly become better than Thuderlord's?
Thunderlords is better on dot mages which lux isnt. Also the whole mastery pages where nerfed a little while back which probably make lux favor ferocity
Thunderlord's is better for BURST, which Lux does have but most of the time she's poking with her E which hits most of the time unlike her Q. She gets more out of her poke with deathfire than Thunderlord's.
I like taking it as a safer option compared to thunderlord's where proc'ing it mostly consits of E-E- auto which means I have to get in range and, being a burst mage, is bad as I'll become prone to ganking.
I haven't spammed Lux in years but I would use Deathfire on Lux because her passive is single target and would proc the full effect of the keystone.
