Honestly, who cares if Yasuo is balanced. He needs changing.

League of Legends is a game. First and foremost, games should be fun for all participants. And the truth is, Yasuo isn't fun to fight, winning or losing. I'd rather lose a game where it feels like I had lots of control and simply lost on the merit of being less experienced, than win a game whilst constantly jumping through 3 flaming hoops with my spine contorted backwards at a 110 degree angle.

competitive games care about balance

League is a competitive game

I dont see how being a game is first and foremost when its one of ( if not ) the largest E-sport.

Anything that typically involves adjusting your playstyle and using your wit is annoying these days.

Riot has implied that there will always be unfun parts of the game, as it's still a competitive game.

Back when they were making their final changes to Zed in Season 6 when he was too strong. "An assassin's job is to kill, and dying isn't fun after all."

Being CCed to death by the whole enemy team isn't fun. Getting 100-0ed by that fed Burst mage isn't fun. Getting initiated on by that high damage-high initiation potential Diver isn't fun. Getting dove on under tower isn't fun.

The list can go on.

And don't get me wrong, Riot HAS acted against unfun. There are two champions in the history of the game that were so unfun to play against that Riot gutted their numbers and removed them from the free champion rotation until reworked: Pre-rework Poppy and Pre-rework Yorick. Recently, Kallista and Azir (relatively) recently had their kits and numbers gutted, though they're kept in the rotation.
