Of course there's going to be the ones that lie and pretend they were innocent, or try to shift blame ala "They were toxic to me first!". Those are usually solved when a Rioter shows up and posts the chat logs. Then suddenly the OP disappears from their own thread so fast they could put his picture on the back on a milk carton.
But once in a while you get that guy that genuinely doesn't seem to understand that saying something horribly offensive in a public environment can have actual consequences. That distinct lack of common sense and reasonable judgement scares me more than anything else. Just imagine that those same people could very well be out there right now operating heavy machinery, piloting airplanes, owning firearms, or voting for public office.
Don't get me wrong, anyone can make a bad decision once in a while. However, there's no denying that some people seem like a powder keg just waiting for a spark.

I mean, I've read plenty of posts where someone claimed Riot banned them for no reason, that person get a fuckload of hate directed at them, then all of a sudden, a Rioter reads the post and investigates and announced that they fucked up. So perhaps stop assuming that Riot is beyond reproach. Their automated system makes horrendous mistakes and FREQUENTLY bans flagged accounts for the most trivial of shit. Back when my account was flagged, I got a 2 week time ban, 50 game chat ban, and 20 game ranked restriction for saying "gg afk" (note: I literally said nothing else for the remainder of the game, and I didn't actually afk).
so embarassing to be associating with these kids who dont suffer any real consequences for their actions, and that know they never will. all their angst is expressed online in full caps and with blissful ignorance he can assume his parents will never find out, and he'll never be found out for acting so horribly online. how bout instead of all this attention to paying millionaire actors even more money by attempting to punish people wanting to watch their shitty movies that they never would have even paid for, they go out and start punishing the actual racists/sexists/bigots/douchebags and trolls and edgy kids in general. whats the real crime here, watching a movie and possibly never speaking of it again, meaning the action has affected NOBODY, or saying possibly anything at all online, that could cause a mentally unstable person to finally tip over the edge and end their own lives. nobodies punishing the trolls cos they have the money that the companies need, but they dont realise by letting them do what they want, the better of the community are more likely to quit and therefore potentially lose the money they wouldve earned anyway

I actually had said problem but not for being toxic, and apparently many friends of mine have as well, where we've all spent more than 900$ on the game and then we'd get banned for no reason under the pretense of hacking or using third party programs and wouldn't tell me what program, and i knew i had pretty much nothing but Chrome, Skype, and League installed on my computer, and my match history just in it self proves im shit, and that if i was hacking or using cheats that at the very least id be doing well every game even if the out come was a loss, which wasn't the case, as i actually was the one feeding most games(Not on purpose of course), i accepted my ban and thanked them for the game i love and cherish, as i had a lot of fun playing, i understood that they can't trust my word alone that "I didn't do it" because many people most likely lie and say they didn't do it, but there wasn't really any way for me to prove im not a hacker/cheater other than my word, unless i recorded every game i ever played. and even then they could still call me a hacker, I was told that i will never get my account back or a refund for any reason, even though they didn't provide any evidence i was guilty of being a cheater other than "We know you did it, and we arn't repealing it", how does this help me when im told by support to ask for a repeal? I can even post the riot support ticket if not believed,, ive always tried my hardest to be nice and understanding to those who spend just as much time as me in the same game and lose or for the winning team or for that one guy who goes 0/11 in lane because i was that guy at one point

Honestly - I feel like "using racial slurs" just means someone saying %%%%% lol (Is that word not allowed here? I don't know.) When in reality, it's not a bad word at all. I say it all the time in my games, and even though I'm black I don't mind when other's say it.
