Frequent Disconnects on the East Coast

Hello, my name is Charles! I have been experiencing an extremely abnormal amount of lag and disconnects throughout almost every game. These disconnects are not ping related, as throughout them I have 100 ping all the time. I'm almost certain you (RIOT) must have messed something up in the last patch. My friends also are having these issues as I have discussed it over with them. I'm on the North Eastern Coast (Of the US) if that helps.

If a RIOT employee or member could reply with some more insight on this issue, I would be extremely grateful!

(If anyone else is experiencing these frequent disconnects, feel free to leave a comment to support the fixing of this issue!) Thank you!

Yeah, the east coast thing has caused some major strife in the community. Riot's only north America servers are in California, and the farther away you are, the stronger internet connection you require to keep a steady flow of input and output of the game servers. Sometimes, your internet won't always be strong enough. I live in GA with a pretty strong internet connection, and League still lags all day. Sometimes it's unplayable.

The reason people are so upset is that just about every online game ever has taken the east coast into account. League is a AAA title that only has one US server and it's not even centralized. Even small games, like Airmech have more than one server across the US, even though they're located in Washington. Riot was justified in having 1 server 4 years ago when it wasn't the 2nd largest pc game ever.
