Then I don't see the problem to let your team push your lane. I mean, what you're saying is that you intentionally cripple your mid-lane as an Assassin who has no impact in the game at all if all you're good at is killing people while not pushing anything at all.

Or, alternatively, enemy ADC, jungler and support are stealing their midlaners CS and you are left in 1v4 because krugs are more important than middle tower.
