Why no zoom out?

I just find the curret gameplay screen to be too small in certain situation such as teamfights where people are too dispersed and you can miss something of what's happening around in such little time. My question is, why doesn't the game have an option to zoom out as well as zoom in (which i never actually use ingame)? or if it does, how can I activate it?
