Starting promos with a loss?

I am a new player and just recently arrived in my promos for bronze 1. However my ranked screen on my profile shows that I have a loss in said promos.. while simultaneously being on a hot streak.. Is there a reason for this or is it a bug? I'm really concerned because that means I have to win out to get promoted.

Did you dodge a game? Dodging counts as a loss in your promos.

You know what your exactly right.. damn... I was duoing with someone who was not in there promos and we both decided given the way chat was going in champ select that it would be best to dodge... Should have made him do it. Thanks for the quick response!
