so i was playing ranked and my internet went out for a little bit, i'd have to say like 6-8 minutes and then i came back and pretty much brought us back from an open nexus ( my tier 1 tower was still up when it went out and they pushed to nexus through mid[my lane] when i came back). Just feels a little unfair since we would have lost if I didn't come back.
while i agree this sucks, there is unfortunate no way to tell at riots end if u lost internet, or just quit the game. and decided to come back.
it does give u 3 min of lenience, where if u come back in that time it still counts as a win for you. unfortunately your outage was too long.
you may not have gotten yourself points,,, but u did save at least 3 people on your team who would have gotten the loss.
its unfortunate, but i feel there isn't anything riot could do to make this better.
they have a manual " i am choosing to leave this game" thing, which I'm nearly positive sends a message to riot that you choose to leave rather than u just lost connection...
but if u can get point for just "losing connection" there are a million ways u can spoof that..
it is indeed unfortunate u got the -10 yourself, but your actions made it so 3 people on your team didn't receive that loss. And u should take pride in the fact that u helped these people with no gain to yourself, as it was the right thing to do. Look at it like proof you are an honorable person who came back just to help others, even you u no longer get the gain.
ps ( yes i said "other 3" and not " other 4" people, with 
's kda im not sure he would have really deserved the win XD)
