TL;DR: Yasuo isn't fuckin fun anymore, its not his kit, or his overall powerlevel in the League. The REAL problem is the communities interaction with anyone who touches the champion.

This is coming from a Yasuo main, my highest ranked account is Gold 1, but i stopped playing on it because only playing to win League of Legends, ESPECIALLY RANKED, is just borderline unfun. So go ahead and auto downvote, this is mainly my piss poor experience playing Yasuo, and maining him. I am aware this borderlines on a rant, but for fucks sake this needs to be said. I'm not a Yas one trick, NOR am I a "typical yasuo player." Just a preface.

Honestly, I fucking HATE playing this champion, I love everything about Yasuo, I'm aware his kit can be unfun to play against, but I also believe he is one of the comparatively weaker champions in the meta at the moment. I love Yasuo, all his skins are so far in my collection, I want to hit 1m mastery points and want him to be my first champion to do so, and I've been playing for 3 years almost. My old, permed account, back when I was a typical Yasuo player, reflects that notion, it was very close to hitting the mark... BUT HONESTLY, IT FEELS LIKE IT ISN'T WORTH ANYTHING.

Every. Single. Goddamn game. No matter how I'm performing I get the same bullshit from this toxic, low elo, mindnumbing matchmaking. I just genuinely don't understand why I get hate for playing ONE of 120+ champions, it's fucking absurd. It is no longer, and I've felt this way for a couple months, fun to play Yasuo. The match I just got out of, I played Yas, obviously, and I was 3/1 and was doing quite alright in terms of Macro. The syndra I laned against was roaming more than me, but i made sure I was punishing her by pressuring tower and sieging to the best of my ability; I even got first tower. But this did NOT come without: "Yasuo you fucking idiot rotate top and stop (the already behind because I had roamed twice, not to mention he got ganked another time and was losing to Shen) Nasus." When I play Wukong, Or morde? none of that name calling and overall toxicity. When I play Darius or any other champ, nada, Save for when I actually fuck up and shit the bed.

Overall, this shit is just rediculous... I feel like my dedication to a champion who i think is just cool, and riot did an overall amazing job on lore wise, and replayability wise, is just for fucking nothing. I just genuinely never thought it would be this bad, it's honestly so disheartening. I just wanna enjoy my favorite champion. Sorry for writing a full on novel, but man I had to get this off my chest. Seems like if you ain't the greats: Moe, ArKaDaTa, etc. everyone hates you,

People hate Yasuo players because they all think that playing an OP champ makes them god-like when in reality they are often worse than everyone else.

Eh don't let it bother you. I get the same crap sometimes whenever I play Riven. Honestly the reason I play her so much is when I first started League she was one of the free to play champs and was the only humanoid warrior with a sword during that week so yeah I played her all week. When she was no longer playable for me I bought her as soon as possible. It wasn't until later when I learned to actually play her did I start doing well. I just like Riven because she falls into my usual preferred types of characters to play as. And since she was my first ever Champion I got attached to her so she became my main. I'm not gonna let the toxic community ruin my fun playing her.
