How does an adc handle being focused by a Hecarim?
I can never understand how to play against Hec as a squishy back liner. his ult is such a huge gap closer and I can never seem to position far enough back [zombie-nunu-tears]

As Cait I drop a trap on myself. At least I get a headshot, and he's immobilized for a little while so maybe the team can kill him.
Not much you can do tbh. It takes teamwork.
Beyond praying for your team to peel and not being in a position where such a move will destroy you, idk man.
If you're an immobile ADC you either need your team's help or you need flash up. Having both of those doesn't hurt either. If you're an ADC with an escape, having good timing on your escape and abusing walls helps. He's just fairly difficult to deal with alone.
Kiting with 
. Ive done it with jinx and it works wonders. Keep that minigun AA range at 90-100, and he'll never touch yoy.[slayer-jinx-wink]

According to these boards all you have to do as an ADC is sneeze on Hecarim and he should fall over dead.

He gets clippity clopped, there is no escaping.
Divers job is to dive the back line (an adc), and get tools to reliably do that. Unless you have your own mobility, you need the help of your team.
