I Lost All Mechanical Skill on My Main After Not Playing Him For 1 Day

I have a consistent problem on my main champion who I've been playing since 2015, Velkoz. If I spend a single day not playing him, and just playing other champs, when i switch back to Velkoz, I miss a large majority of skillshots and become unable to combo and time spell rotations correctly. I even miss ult and mis-press buttons. You'd think someone with 1.2 million mastery on a champion wouldn't play as if he's first timing... It takes at least a few games to get back into the groove as well. This cycle repeats itself every time i pick another champion to play.

Does anyone else have this problem? What have you tried to fix this?

thats called mental.

thats not ur mechanical skill being poor, its just you not being confident in yourself which causes you to play worse than you actually are.

Don't worry, I get that. I can't play Thresh or Braum these days even though I mained them for over a year each in almost every game. Don't seem to be having that problem with Taric or Shen yet :O

The brain can't consistently perform at its highest level. I'd assume it's because of this that you feel as if you periodically lose your mechanical skill, when in reality you're just playing during a mental downtime.
