So today I woke up, thinking I was going to make it to Gold finally for this season. I was on fire, winning every game in silver 1 except maybe one game. I play my first game, get into it, and the jungle decides to all chat "Come Baron pit for free kills" as to where everytime my Jungler spawned, there he stood, in Baron pit, waiting to die. Alright ill move onto the next one, you can have up to 2 losses to still win Promos. Queue up again, looks like we have a great team comp, about 2 minutes into game, all I hear is "an allied champion has been slain" to notice it was my mid, who then disconnected so I figured he was lagging. After a solid 18 minutes, I realized that was not the case. On to the next, I have to win this one, ill q up as Lucian and wreck them. Get in lane its blitz Lucian vs Xayah brand. Should be a fairly simple lane, just have to play safe and let blitz do some magic. Although Blitz decided to run around the enemy jungle, until 5 minutes into the game, and then gank top with no reward, by then I was 30 cs down, and 3 levels down because of being zoned off by the brand, to where the blitz says you suck I'm never coming to lane. Sweet. This sounds like a Sob story, but really I'm just trying to hit at how bad this community is. a game after that I had another AFK, then one normal game, then another AFK. I wish you would not lose LP if an allied champ was afk for more than XX Time. is all I have to say.

the problem is if you dont lose any lp if you have an afk, it only would be fair if you dont get any lp if the enemy has an afk aswell. and it would be abusable as hell.

to solve the problem there should be one question answered: "why do the people keep afking and trolling?" most likely because there are no real consequences in doing it.

there are 3 highly common behaviours that are punishable: inting, afking and flaming. flamers get banned fairly often i feel from report feedbacks etc. afkers seem to get banned WAY too late. you need to afk so often its ridiculous. but they eventually get banned at least because there is a detection system for it. trolls are the biggest problem. never expect someone who ints to get banned ever. even if they talk in all chat about "come to me for free kills" and do it for 20 games in a row.

this is just riot not wanting to use ressources to review reports. i feel like the whole report system is "an algorithm checks if they said something bad in ingame chat or if they went afk 15 times in a row." everyone could determine within 2 minutes if someone that gets reported several times for inting is indeed inting (few minutes of replay from a single game often are enough). had someone on my team some days ago who from minute 3 on ran into the enemies while even talking about it in chat. now i take a look at his op.gg profile. oh... he had a game some hours later where he went 0-12 and had THREE TIMES mobi boots as only items after 20 minutes into the game. yet he is still playing.

EVERYONE could EASILY tell within TWO MINUTES of game replays that this guy inted at least two games. but no one does because i highly doubt that there are any persons at riot who actually do this.

tldr: the problem is not that people exist who do this. the problem is that theres no real reviewing of reports to get these guys banned so they can do it for several games.

Matchmaking in promos is always the fucking worst. They legit throw you against plats sometimes @ silver 1 -> gold promos.

Booo I was hopeing you were being serious, on the title.... I could go for an optimistic story.

That aside, yeah sorry to hear, just a streak of bad luck...The game'll likely find a way to compensate for ya, I bet. Cant have such a disaster happen without an unexpected reward.

This is why I hate ranked. It feels less like an assessment of skill and more like an assessment of luck. Do you have the afk this game, or do they?

sorry to hear that bad string of games. The blitz is an idiot though, against a ranged support he cannot really afford to roam that early as it sets you way behind and all you can do is sit at turret and farm there. Possibly if you were on a caitlyn you may be able to manage with the range

Nothing like my 22 losses of last 25 ranked games in Season 6 where I was two wins away from promotion to Platinum 5. During that shit span I averaged KDA of 3.7 or something like that as Jungler/Mid. Ended up dropping me all the way down to Gold 5. It truly is the League of Luck.

This season I'm not playing ranked, just been playing a provisional game per month on a good day to get placed in Platinum tier right away so I don't have to go through that shit again. So far I'm on track, 3 wins out of 3 provisional games with 6.33 KDA as Jungler and it has me projected to place in Gold 4.
