The fact whenever I happen to lane against a Vladimir
, I am stopmed on. It is very non entertaining to play a game ment for fun when I lose all the time to this champion. I think Vladimir should be based on somthing other than Spell vamp, it's way too cheap. I think vlad needs some kind of nerf to where Ap or Spell Vamp scaling is lowered so he doesn't dominate from level 1. Well this is my thoughts on this, I hope someone agrees with me, if not it's cool.
KevinDelMarr8 votesPick someone with a hard gap closer, and push his lane to turret. He's very fragile early on, he doesn't have the early CC and damage to do much in a gank, and has a hard time farming under turret since his auto attack is terrible.
He's the definition of a bully, he picks on you but can't back it up in a straight fight

Freljordan2 votesVladamir's lategame is extremely powerful, for this guy its important to bring the hurt early. A good all-in based champ such as 
just completely destroys vladamir by doing what they do best, hit lvl 2 and kill, rinse and repeat. Another way to beat vladamir is to beat him at his own game, that is sustain.

are both very good examples. Vlad can just never kill you since you sustain through most of his damage.
Also as a tip, never try to dive vlad unless you are very confident you can tank a fair amount of damage from both him and 3+ turret shots, or he wastes his w. Tip #2 is that vladamir has a terrible lvl 1, because his q cooldown is just so long. To compensate vlad players try to auto you a lot, but often you can put a pretty good amount of harass onto them for trying to play this way.
Basically, Vladamir isn't broken, you just need to learn his weaknesses and how to exploit them! Good luck
bobbery51 votesAs someone who is still learning the ropes to Vladimir, I can tell you that Xin is definitely a hard counter to Vladimir. Vlad has one of the weakest early games, and his cooldowns are his biggest weakness early game.

EcchiOtakuTM1 votesIf you can't stick onto vlad as darius you aren't making use of his q threat as well as saving your pull for AFTER he puddles, or if you pull him and he puddles you aren't moving fast enough to w him, vlad is easily beatable for darius as long as you know how to punish his skills.

If you go, say, Nasus, just rush a spirit visage and then whatever you want, since that nullifies Vlad completely. If Riven or an all in, just all in him at level 2 and watch as he either dies or puddles. Then repeat until he has to leave lane or die.
Quantum Bread1 votesIf poor susan does not feed Vlad an early kill.....almost all my Nasus Vlad match ups go ...lvl 3 first blood on the dog...push the wave in ,,,back get revolver ....push and poke him out of lane....kill usually ....get pen boots.....if he starts becoming an issue rush Rylias before WOTA finish constantly pressure and deny ...dog cant stack dog is useless... I win. This is seriously how 90% of my Vlad into the Dog lane goes...as for riven I pull the dick move and play like a wimp till I get 1k gold and get giants belt first back poke her and half of the time kill her....get rylias and pen or cdr boots poke and kite poke and kite she literally can't touch you if you run the right runes/masteries setup...sooo it's a skilll thing for Vlad and tbh I see loads of vlad players who have no idea what they are doing... It's sad

If he needs to be nerfed just because you can never beat him, then shouldn't all champions be nerfed because I cannot seem to win against any champion my diamond friend is using? And, really, Vladimir can be countered quite effectively. While you do need to target him specifically, he can be countered.

The Point of health based casting is so the lose health when they cast abilities not gain it back. Especially Vlads kit "untargetable, AP burst tank" come on riot doesnt that seem a little farked?
