Stop playing by the meta Let me just say this: If all your enjoyment comes from winning, this won't be a way for you to have fun. In fact, it'll make you rage. But if you're a normal person, play off meta. I can say this much: in my past 10 games, my winrate dropped to 22%. Yet those have also been some of the most fun games of my time playing League. Seeing Thresh land fat dark harvest AD enhanced auto attacks for a one shot is amazing. Throwing a bunch of cards around with AS Twisted Fate is great. Running around with Lethal Tempo Jhin is fun as hell. Stop playing by what's most efficient, start playing by what's actually fun.

And if what's meta is fun for you, then use that.

Just don't bring your 22% win rate in ranked queues.

It might be fun for you but it won't be for 4 other players.
