"Compensation buff" for ryze incoming

Hi at all. I read some minutes ago about the rework of ryze, and it really remind me the terrible rework thet you did to veigar (every day there at at least 2 topic about veigar!). actually this is my ipression:

  • passive: the changes are ok, you need to charge it before trade, and it's cool. I like this change!
  • overload: the spell that you actually use for poke, it will become a skillshot that will stop at the first minion. This is first big problem. How can you poke someone if you're spell will stop at the first minion?! Not enough, it will do less damage.
  • cage: less damage, longer cooldown, and the snare is shorter, i have to comment?
  • spell flux: less damage, less magic resist reduction (12% is a lot less than 24 on adc and apc)
  • this ulti will remain nearly the same, apart for 30 % cooldown. So now it will become useless to buy a frozen harts for the mana, armor and CD.

you compleated destroyed his kit, nerfed all his spell and more than that, now it will become a classic mage like everyone else. one skillshot, one light cc, some aoe damage, and no more tank. if someone think that i'm wrong, please can you explain what he thinks about this rework? i'm seeing 4 post for days about how bad are now veigar and how bad it will become ryze.

You are right, the bonus CDR is stupid and badly planned, the lower CC and nerfshot is bad and only catering to LCSBIGPLAYS and hypermobility, and the overall damage decrease is unneeded

And the Ult itself is bad because 1v1 the SV is reduced to by 66% thanks to the ult itself making all damage AoE.

Its like they have this ''how to make champions weaker to mobility'' primer with follow-up steps. This will nerf his CC, his building choices and his overall power of BEING AN ANTI MOBILITY CHAMPION. AND THAT IS NOT OK.

Its the same as the Veigar rework. ''Wah wah our mobile melee champions cant lolstomp or ''outplay'' X champion, we MUST REWORK''.

The scaling on Q has been reduced to 4% from 6.5%
