So if Riot doesn't want soloQ, can we atleast have two rankings for one queue?
Since Riot is just ignoring the issue, I guess they want to stick with dynamicQ only, probably fearing that it might fail if they reintroduce soloQ. I haven't played a game on my main in more than two weeks now. I really love this game though, and I don't want my interest in this game to die out like this.
Right now dynamicQ feels like ranking professional football teams and basketball teams together. Both games require a different skill set and ranking the teams on one ladder implies that their performance can be compared. How is Arsenal FC gonna compare to the LA Lakers? Nobody knows, they'll never play each other, since they play different games. Same thing with Summoner A who only plays solo and Summoner B who only plays in a party. Only that A will have to play with premades sometimes. Imagine Kobe Bryant having to play football against Arsenal. Silly.
What I propose is a solution similar to how DotA 2 did it, since they use dynamicQ without killing my enjoyment of the game - they have split MMRs in the same queue: soloMMR and partyMMR. Solo players can still get matched with and against 2- or 3-man premades (4-man premades are not allowed in DotA 2), but as long as they play solo they get a differentiated MMR. This is all it'd take to make dynamicQ attractive for me. Seeing how I match up against other solo players by making the best of random teammates, while pleasing the dynamic crowd by not removing solo players from dynamicQ. Ranks would mean a specific thing again instead of being vague.
Please, Riot.
I am really passionate about your game, but right now it is not for me anymore.
