Can We Bring Zilean. . . Back to Life?

My boy zilean deserves to snag a spot in the limelight. Before anyone says it, yes, I know his ult is strong, but he is not viable in either support or mid and has been transformed into a novelty pick. So, why not gas zilean up a bit? It would allow his pick rate to be less abysmal and while simultaneously making him more fun because in this game stronger and more fun are synonymous. As an added bonus people might actually start learning to not flash away when you ult them. Just food for thought.

I really like if zilean could again cast W on ally but in a little healthy way. High the W cd. If zilean cast W on himself the W has less CD. If Zilean is using W on ally will refound the 20/35/50/65/80% ally mana used in the last 3s. This will bring zilean better as support role.

Balancing for the spotlight is a garbage approach and I never want Riot to do it.
Zilean is fine, my friend plays him all the time and he kicks ass with him. Zilean is unique, strong and relevant, despite being an unusual pick.

Uh, forget his ult. His E is insanely strong. Max it first and watch him roll the bot lane.

Yea no I remember just a few weeks ago his win rate was within the top 5 overall. If they buff any 'support' aspect of him they'll need to nerf his bombs, which I don't think many Osama-b-I mean Zilean mains will be happy about.

he's a bit weak but still viable for sure in the right situation

I prefer mid though because I don't have much experience playing the support role
