Thunderlords is not OP

Ok, so yeah I know this is coming from a non high elo player, i do consider myself to be pretty knowledgeable about the game, but this is just my opinion.

I keep reading posts about Thunderlords being OP and is used by 9/10 players every game. Me being an ADC main with jungle right behind, literally the only reason I take Thunderlords is because I think Precision is OP (not thunderlords) Of course thunderlords helps a ton with the early game, but mid-late game I would much rather take one of the other keystones over thunderlords. Just the fact I can get the Armour/magic pen. from precision with a good early game keystone is more than enough for me to take it. Take away precision I will most likely not run thunderlords anymore. So in a nutshell what I am saying is the masteries leading to thunderlords is more valuable than other mastery trees and for me precision is the big reason i always take thunderlords. So let me know am if I am wrong? and Thunderlords actually really is OP? lol. Want to know others opinion on the matter.

Its that everything else was nurfed and that the armor pen in that tree is really good.

The reason Thunderlord's is currently overpowered (not the tree, but the mastery itself) is because:

  1. Every other mastery was nerfed a bit. While I like to use stuff like Fervor (Still works) and Bond of Stone, Thunderlord's Damage is usually so powerful these two aren't worth taking. I've seen Janna take this mastery... JANNA.
  2. 30% AD Ratio This makes hybrid champions and a lot of AD casters ridiculous to deal with. Ever seen an Akali with this? Not to mention the damage is absurd late game.

I agree, it's not op, it's just that the other keystones are quite lackluster compared to it since they nerfed them, then buffed thunderlord's.

Honestly though, other masteries get buffed, just check out the pbe updates! Thunderlords was never op in the first place, it just suited most combo based casters much better than the other masteries. Consider; The only two keystone masteries wich mages could pick are Deathfire Touch and Thunderlords decree, since Deathfire Touch has lower impact on aoe spells (wich most mages tend to have) it seems much better to pick Thunderlords decree for more burst.

lol man you have no idea what you are talking about. try being a supp against duo thunderlord. I can not play any aggressive tanks like alistar or braum. anytime i go to set up kills alistars life gets taken down to half or lower in under 10 seconds. so thunderlord makes aggressive supp champs almost impossible to play. and even late game. when you have like 5 or 4 enemy champs with thunderlords any tanks will be destroyed if everyone focuses their thunderlord on him. it way take away that buff but if your team can not kill the enemy tank or anyone then that leaves your team at a major disadvantage. something has to be done with thunderlord or it might just change the game forever even in a bad way.

All they need to do is make Thunderlord more of an AP thing instead of AD. Cut base damage a bit, add a touch more AP ratio to balance it back, nerf AD ratios across the board in the Cunning tree and tell AD champs to GTFO back to ferocity.
