how is it that i can win 8 out 10 games and i get in to bronze but my friend can win 4 out of 10 game and he gets silver that makes no sense to me at all so ya think you can help me with that now thx u

It has to do with the skill level of your opponents during those placement matches, not just whether you win or lose. As an example I placed into Gold 5 with 5 wins and 5 losses because I was matched against opponents around that skill level.
