The life of a SOLO in a 4 man premade. 1 vs 9

Where should i even begin here.....

I guess i will start by asking why do solo players have to be FORCED into playing with 3-4 man queues which are 70-90% of the time very toxic or at best passive aggressive. I might get flamed for this, but who cares.... the game is inherently toxic and forcing players to go join premades does not help one bit with how frustrating and unfun league can feel at times. When playing with 2-4 other solo players, each player starts on a common ground..... they basically start at 0 and build their way up to communicate with each other or work towards a common goal by the end of the game. Now it is completely opposite when playing with a 3 or 4 man premade because: a) They already have their own lines of communication. b) There is 0 common ground apart from trying to have fun/win the game. c) Points A and B fosters a situation where the 1 man solo player becomes a lesser entity d) Becoming a lesser entity means being ISOLATED basically from the game itself or being isolated from having fun.

Now you may ask or say, how do points a and b foster a situation of isolation? It's really simple (and riot cant tell me that they didnt think this would be a problem) 4 ppl playing together means they are either familiar with each other or have some kind of friendly ties. It is human nature to put the interest of those who you are familiar with before the interest of a random (don't tell me u dont agree). So what you are left with as a solo player is simply being in a position of 1v9 in 60-70% of the time. Now that might not be the case, but with the lack of communication or the passive aggressive remarks, ping spamming, and just general mockery it creates that situation very fast.

Riot has implemented the ability to mute pings recently and muting players have always been in place. The issue with muting pings and players? There is a report system in the game, and in order to make use of the report system and removing the bad apples; you actually need to see their messages and ensure that you are reporting properly otherwise you generate a false report if you mute chat/pings prematurely. On the other hand, not muting means their messages will be delivered and it will often times affect the solo player, not to say this doesnt happen in a full solo party... but the reality is it happens far less frequent because in such a case its each man for themselves and everyone fears the report button. But not with a 4 man premade. its literally 4 vs 1 or 1 v 9 depends on how you look at it, so why would they care about what they say in team chat to the solo player when they dont have to care about reports?? The only way it really affects them is if they actually do it every game and they have reports streaming in nonstop. and to be completely honest most of the "instant report feed back" that i get are when i report toxics/feeders in an every man for themselves game. Hardly have I ever gotten an instant report feedback when i report these 4 man premades.... it actually begs me to wonder if they legit just constant do the same thing over and over and just get away all the time.

anyway.

I am wondering if it's too much to add a button option that you can toggle to join a premade for queue or play "A TRUE SOLO/DUO QUEUE" well i guess it does exists but at this rate BLIND pick is unplayable for those of us who play solo..... the button doesnt need to do much, just toggle it if you want to join a faster game by joining a premade or wait the extra minute to join a solo queue game.

fuck i might as well just form my own troll mode solo 4 man queue and do the same thing since they can get away with it..... cuz why not????? naturally i wont, but see what i mean?

I honestly understand what you mean.

It's just basic human psychology that people tend to act more arrogant and self-assured when they are in groups. In League it's like 10x worse. The report system is seriously stupid in that it only goes off sheer numbers instead of actual context.

The only thing you can do if you know they're full premade and acting like self-entitled children is simply mute them and try to play the game out. If they dislike you, they will just try to bait you so they can report because half the people in this game have the mentality of a 12 year old when they play.

Why are you taking normal games this seriously?

IF you want this to not be a problem then dont get tilted from other people, i know its a tough thing to ask for or do, but work on that, focus on having fun and dont worry about what others say, i mean obviously because it seems to me that you dont play ranked, then you take normals more serious, but to me if someones being toxic in a normal game i just laugh at it, because this guy literally has nothing else to do

i know it sounds like mean or something but get a friend, seriously league is fun with someone else

Ill just tell you this dude, Riot is not gonna fix this issue, honestly they dont care that much about this miniscule problem and there would be no point in opening a new queue like solo/duo to normals as theres already 2, they wont make draft flex because that would ruin some 4 mans experiences and its in the majority over the solos like you. YOU HAVE TO ADAPT TO THIS SITUATION SOMEHOW.

I guess you're lucky, I'm usually with randoms against full 4- or 5-man premades.
