Wtf does that mean? that's literally the same even outside of promos, it's not like ur gonna get ad if u pick mid/top. Why not make it so you can get ur primary role during promos?
No there is an autofill function. Doesn't happen often but it does happen.
So there is a difference.
It means that you can't be autofilled.
I don't think its for high elo only because i smurf a bronze 4 account and after many wins in a row i got that thing and i don't know what is it.
I actually got autofilled to support in b4 once xD

I've seen this before for promos but I'm about to play a ranked game (not my promos) and the * at the bottom says "You're guaranteed one of your selected roles this game because you recently autofilled." I don't ever remember autofilling, I always pick support first and mid second and I always get support (what I want). I wonder why this popped up for me.
