I still remember getting my ass kicked by a Karma in mid as Ahri. My duo partner was losing his mind, screaming about tryhards and winner mentality. I told him to settle down, I was learning a bunch, hadn't seen Karma in a bit, yada yada.
After the game, my friend messaged me. The Karma was ~#300 in North America, just playing a warm-up before a few ranked games.
If people say try-hard, they're idiots.
i think of this
I have never understood how you kids managed to turn " try hard " into something negative. It seriously blows my mind. All my years growing up... parents, coaches, teachers... you need to try hard...give it your all... you just need to try harder...and now i hear a bunch of punks telling people that are trying really hard to do good at something, that this is a bad thing? Seriously, i want to know why you feel that is a bad thing and not trying is somehow better? Are you all just a bunch of slackers in gym class? "dude if we all go really slow and take it easy no one will look slow and we can skate this mile run bro... Dude just do like 3 pushups this time, then next time do like 4 or 5 and that way we will get an easy A" For real... is lazy "In" now or what?
