What has allowed me to climb from Bronze 2 to Sliver one in the last month is map awareness, objective control, wave control, and leadership.
-
Map awareness: Simply don't overextend. Getting caught out loses games and if you see someone overextending ping them. Watch your self as well, never push past the river without wards during landing phase.
-
Objective control: This is more focused on towers rather than dragons. If you have just taken mid tier 2 and you see their team is up and you also see that minions are pushing on top tier 2 ping you team to rotate top side rather than wasting time mid where the enemy team is now running towards. Also know when you can take dragon or baron. Don't not make a baron call with their whole team up and nothing pushing in. If your teammate makes this call as well ping your team off it.
-
Wave control: If your laning and the enemy laner back shove the wave into the turret so they lose cs and then back. Same goes if you just killed them. In the late game try to keep your side lanes pushing at all times if possible. This will force someone on the enemy team to go clear it while you can group mid or take another objective.
-
Leadership: Keep your team positive and if you have good game knowledge try and shot call for your team. Ping where you want your team to go and try and keep everyone positive because of your team starts flaming and you flame back your not gonna win the game 9 times out of 10.
Do this and you should be Gold in no time. I know I'm only silver one but I've been doing this and I'm climbing like crazy. I know I'll be gold within the next week or so, hell im currently on a 8 win streak! Good luck to you though.
