How to deal this less-than-intelligent teammates as a tank

** I want to preface this by saying I am not a god, but sometimes I get teammates that make poor choices**

I was playing Nunu jungle and building tank. I was ganking well, but our botlane did not do enough damage to follow up. After laning phase our veigar was melting thier team, and I was ccing/tanking. But, our Garen decides to ditch us right before a teammate and try to push his very behind lane. Then our support decides to split bot. Veigar and I had to fall back to our inhib tower, but in a 2v5 we got dove. Our adc came to help but was so behind he just ran into cc and died. After that moment my team kept picking bad fights. Fights where we were out numbered, did not have our damage, under their tower, etc. We ultimately lost because my team took a fight mid while we had 3 waves of super minions crashing in our base. I could not defend because I did not do enough damage. What could I have done as a tank and the jungler to help my team when they would not group or they would take good fights? All help welcome, and feel free to criticize me!

If you want to be able to deal with teammates you feel are worse than you, don't pick a relatively low-CC tank when you want to be able to carry.

And...

"I was ganking well, but they didn't do enough damage," or in other words, no, you weren't ganking well. Because you knew you didn't have enough damage to assist them but still went for hard ganks anyway.

"in a 2v5 we got dove," or in other words, you didn't fall back enough. Especially knowing you couldn't fight them.

To assess the rest of the issues, we'd need to know the teams and the dragons. Because at a certain point it may not have been possible to do a comeback with your team comp. And if you were using Nunu's main strength, you should've had some good dragons. Though it does suck to get stuck with only clouds and oceans when you pick a champ that's good for securing dragons.
