Difference between Eye of the Watchers vs. Frost Queens Claim

Trying to make a build for but I am confused if I should get or . Could anyone help me decide which is best or what advantages one has over the other?

the difference is that frost queen is built out of item 3098 item 3108 into item 3092 eye of the watchers is built from item 2049 into item 2301

the big difference is that item 3092 provides and active that sends two ghost that will seek out the closest enemies and slows them if there is no vision it will show those enemies found. so you can use it as a slow or a scouting tool.

as far as item 2301 you are basicly combining your item 2049 with your gold per 10 item item 3098 into one slot of your inventory. you lose the active from item 3092 . but you gain an extra inventory slot by not having to use two slots for your and however you cant upgrade into item 2045 if you get

item 3092 gives 50AP, 10%cdr , 2 gold per 10 ,+75% mana regen (plus the active of the ghost ) item 2301 is +200 hp, +100% mana regen , +25AP , 10cdr , 2 gold per 10 ( you lose 25ap compared to but gain +25% mana regen)

full build example

item 3092 item 2045 item 3190 item 3050 item 3504 item 1001 item 2301 and your left with an extra item slot for whatever 6th item you would want

me personally who mains Sona Morgana at support i always end up with item 3092 i think the extra hp and 1 extra ward and the passive of item 2045 ( which reduces the cool down of actives by 20%) is a better option then item 2301 cuz i get to use more often on the active with the 20%cdr on the active from

the difference is that one gives you onhit damage and slows and the other gives you vision

If you have to ask yourself which one you need the answer is always eye of the watchers

frost queens claim ghosts can find stealth champs however so that's a plus. But if you have to ask just get the eye

Frost Queen advantage: Active that slows 2 champions at once

Eye of the watchers advantage: frees an item slot and a little more mana regeneration

Otherwise they are pretty much the same regarding gold generation.

item 3092 : an active that gives you a pretty powerful scouting tool. Yes, it is more than just a slowing device, and shows you where the enemies are. item 2301 : costs less in general and can give you an extra slot for items.

People seem to underestimate the power of longer-ranged scouting nowadays, because for instance you think the enemy team is at dragon, but they're at baron.

But either way it's still up to you.
