Questionable ranked matching

I've noticed a trend recently, and I was wondering if anyone else was experiencing anything of a similar nature. I am currently silver 4 (up from bronze 1, but down from Silver 1 in season 4) and have noticed a surprising amount of Golds in my ranked games. (i have also had plats in my norms but that's not the point of this thread) I also have the very common issue of Afk's causing issues in my gain of lp as well as promos.

My most recent game, which will be attached, had 4 gold teammates on the opposing team while our team was all silver players. Now I understand that rank does not always go hand in hand with skill, but as it is meant to I will assume it does for the moment. In this game I was left bottom alone as Tristana as my support stood in the tri bush doing nothing. I asked him what he was doing but got no response. I was against a Graves and Leblanc bot lane and was ultimately tower dove at level 2. They then proceeded to ward the tri bush finding my Afk partner and a handful of free gold. Eventually our Shaco flamed me and began feeding graves even more.

But back to the main point. Has anyone else been experiencing weird matches with much higher ranks than normal? Or am I just that one unlucky person who is getting "special treatment."
