The way you should take it this season. Is to wait a month or at least a few weeks for the ranked ques to balance out a bit. Think about it if you have Challenger, Master, diamaond, and plat all trying to fit in plat. Where does some of the plats end up? In gold! Where does gold end up?? Silver! where does silver end up?? bronze! Its just how it works. A giant influx like that with whacky mmr's due to end and pre-season its bound to be a bit screwey. So think about that for a while. Oh and if you dont understand what I'm saying. Highest rank you can make in promos is Plat 1. :)
it's less about winrate and more about performance actually. if your mmr puts you low, you go low. if you're supposed to be higher, cool, it'll be easy to climb. if not, cool, you're where you're supposed to be
