Assassin Kayn Ult

I've played my fair amount of Kayn and his umbral trespass just seems extremely underwhelming in SA form. Tthe reset is cool and all, but usually, if I don't kill them with that initial burst their team tends to converge on their location by then. I understand aiming for the utility, however, i believe that to further represent that assassin identity that its suppose to possess why not change it into a execute. Tho that is just a personal opinion. It could very much well help with the power balancing issues he definitely has.

They are buffing the AD ratio. But yea, I have the same issue about shadow Kayn ult. Its quit a dilemma because once you ult, you want to spend the full 2.5 seconds so your Q and W can come off of cooldown, bu the longer you wait, the more counter play comes from your target and their team.

I can't tell the number off times I get dragged into turret range.

What power balance issue that he has? Both forms are fine. In fact, with the state Duskblade is in, it boggles my mind how anyone could say that. This "Darkin is the only way to play Kayn" meme not only puts you at a disadvantage, but also goes against the spirit of the champion.

Exacly on assasin form you are basically playing different version of zed(he is zeds student after all lore wise) go in one shot your target, get out. Darkin is basically the same, but you want to build slightly tankier and take some damage first before popping the ult.

Darkin is built to shred tanks and be a frontliner. If you go Darkin, you lose the ability to consistently burst squishies since his Q and ult get replaced with % HP damage. Also Assassin is more mobile, and has a higher threat range, in addition to having a higher burst.

As far as your comparison to Zed goes: Kayn has strengths that Zed does not have, just like Zed has things that Kayn does not have. Zed has a bit higher up front burst, and is a lot more mobile inside of a fight, but Kayn has his E which brings so much utility, and also has the ability to totally disappear from the map with his ult.

Well assuming you are picking your target correctly, building lethality, not too behind and land your w, you should be able to one shot squishies with your combo. From most of my games so far they either die to ult, or 1 last q after the ult. Yesterday I was so fed that I one shot enemy jungler with just w and q and maybe an aa.
