Malphite

I know that people don't see Malphite that often so this probably isn't that complained about but at rank 5 his Q does 270 damage with 60% scaling AND steals movement speed. The damage might be balanced if it was a skill shot but its not and has a range of 625 units which means he has stupid lane pressure with a point and click ms stealing ability.

Someone might say, "just build some magic resist items" but if he builds just a void staff (which probably will because no malphite plays him tank) there goes almost half of my MR. Also if he buys hextech protobelt on top of that he has 40% magic pen with a point and click ability that is doing 400 damage while only being negated with about 40 to 50ish mr on most bruisers because we can only afford to get one or two MR items (counting boots).

Lets say malph is full build right? His build consists of Void staff (+70 ap, 40% magic pen), Hextech Protobelt (+60 ap, +400 HP, 10% cdr), Sorc shoes (+18 magic pen), Rod of ages (+60 ap, +300 hp, +300 mana), Rylai's Crystal Scepter (90 AP, +300 hp, oh and a passive slow on top of that) Morellonomicon (+70 ap, +300 hp, +15 magic pen, grevious wounds).

This would mean that Malph would have at least 350 AP with 63% magic pen (and from what I could find there was no cap) which means that for someone with 100 MR because that's all a bruiser could afford, they would only be negating about 40ish damage and that would mean just malphs Q would be doing somewhere around 440 damage while being point and click and slowing them and thats not counting the rest of his abilities. Now I usually only get somewhere from 2000 - 2400 hp on cam and maybe 3000 if I really need to so seriously. This needs to be worked on.

Literally any champ that has decent ap scaling on more than one ability should just build ap at this point because Ap items just break them. Malph as a champion isn't that strong if he is build to be a tank like he is supposed to be but if you just build him as a burst mage then he will just one shot everyone.
