Between Kennen and Renekton which champion is a better counter to Yasuo?

Renekton is a beefy lane bully that would make Yasuo's life hell. Both are resourceless, but Renekton has innate sustain and can hold Yasuo still. So early on the advantage goes to the gator.

Basically he'll make Yasuo fall extremely behind if he does his job well.

Irelia Just click on him the moment you get Sheen and you win automatically. Once you have Triforce, you can just 100-0 dive him under his tower.

Kennen can stun him and dash into and away from him while timing his damage from W; Additoonally, he'll melt like butter if you catch him in your ult, which Yas can't block.

Yeah, but a good Kennen will use his Q, then Ult and after one strike, his W to stun. A good Yas will block your Q. It will eliminate a good portion of your dmg.

Of course, it's not enough for a Yas to survive, but he can get out of your Ulti pretty easily if you time it wrong with your minions.

In this case, a good Kennen will do fine, but if you have Kennen, you prob have other champs that can actually do better.

a good kennen will simply use his W passive to land a stack with autos. if yasuo uses wall. kennen uses Q and W active to poke his wall down. and then all in him if kennen has the damage to do so.

True, it depends on how you play him. Even so, his wall blocks kennen's autos. His W actives are easy to see if the Yasuo is knowledgeable about the game. (I'm not expecting every player in the game to know that it starts to spark when it's ready, it helps to know though.)

Kennen has good all in against Yasuo if he hasn't backed and bought and early item 3155 .

Honestly, you should Q to proc his W, then E in with Empowered W Auto into and Ulti and a W. That will stun him and you can auto and Q until he dies. As long as you proc his windwall just right, you will win. An inexperienced Kennen versus an experienced Yasuo will lose. There are much better matchups if you can play them well.

Darius Annie Diana Jax Malzahar Akali Fiora Kayle Zed

Darius all around counters him hard and very easy to win. He's a natural juggernaut just build armor and yas can't do anything early and even late if you screwed him over right. Darius Q can just atk him from far and his bleeds remove shield and do work on him.

Annie is such a easy counter to yas just poke his shield with a auto and then q him. Stay at a safe distance, and once you reach six just unlesh your combo hes too weak even at 6 to kill you if you blow tibbers.

Diana is bruiserish and her shield absorbs most of yas dmg early again a lead and stay aggressive on him.

Zed and malz are also good counters. They both out range him. Zed can harass until hes low enough for him to ult combo. Malz also has a shield to prevent his knockup.

Darius so weak tho... that's because this item right here item 3009 100% counter him.

Darius is not in a good spot right now.

Ryze? His Q is his main dmg and will not be able to kill you if he windwalls.

Point and click cc, E is not a projectile, even if he blocks your Q you can step around his windwall and the Q resets when he uses another move.

No, she's a bird, not a projectile. Only thing I think his W blocks is Swain's E and ult birds, but you can always step passed his wall to continue the attack.

I like swain into yasuo because if he tries to engage on you all you have to do is drop your full combo on yourself and he can't do shit but whimper away like a little bitch.

yasuo main here. despite what most people think, Renekton can still get beat by Yasuo , especially if Yasuo takes summoner 14 / summoner 3 .

Kennen can totally destroy Yasuo in laning- especially if he doesn't build MR early on. i can also vouch for that, since i also have mastery 6 Kennen . he's pretty good at messing him up outside of laning too, although you won't be able to duel him if he decides to get a lot of MR.

BUT, if it's about countering Yasuo , Irelia is definitely the best counter to him.

having played this matchup at least 30 times as Yasuo , and around 4 as Irelia , i can safely say that unless Irelia gets ganked, it is absolutely, positively, IMPOSSIBLE for Yasuo to win. once irelia gets sheen, Yasuo can do nothing more than turtle under tower.

also Akali is great against him as well

Bruiser with midgame spikes destroy him. Fiora, renekton, riven, all great picks if you survive the earlylevels and come to level 4-8. Its basically a complete freewin against him with these champions if you know how to play them.

renekton gets outscales a little too easily and hes beatable. however kennen its highly unlikely yasuo can do much.

Fiora Riven Fizz Darius make his life pretty miserable too.

the hardest counter that he never outscales is Fiora . there is just no way yasuo is able to do anything in that lane . Irelia destroys him as well.

no but kennen is a ranged pick that getting close to in melee range isn't really a good idea also he can poke yasuo windwall down and keep it down for a good while with his W active.

the aoe ult also means yasuo can't dash anywhere nearby.

yeah but if renekton doesn't get early kills he is somewhat useless. and he gets out scaled mid game.

if u want to dumpster yasuo play Darius . yasuo doesn't really outscale darius because of how strong darius is in 1v1s. and he doesn't fall off as much as renekton. grab a cpl ad items. 4 armor items. and yasuo can't sit in the same lane anymore.

True, but these are champions that both need to play aggressive. If they trade (and Renekton can force a trade) odds are Yasuo is gonna lose.

yeah yasuo will lose unless he uses minions and renekton fucks up a trade. yasuo really punishes melees because playing against him feels like a ranged champ. he always lands an auto first because of the dashes and his Q is always up.

If I'm being honest I think Jayce does really well against him. Despite the windwall, if you are smart about how you play you can dumpster pretty easily.

I would think Kennen would be better since he's ranged, which means he can stay out of Yasuo's range and use his own range to bring his shield down and poke him endlessly. Plus with Kennen's E he can dodge the tornado and bam fly in and ult, QW or WQ plus AA and ignite and he's dead.

As far as other counters, Annie beats the shit out of him. Take shield down with AA, bait out his wall, bam Tibbers stun his ass plus QW and ignite- dead.

Both are very good. One of the hardest Yasuo is mordekaiser too. Lane kha'zix shits on Yasuo hard.

Renekton and Darius are both really good, Annie too if hes mid, but a smart Yasuo would rush a chain vest into pd vs Darius and Renekton which should give him an edge if he doesnt die early. Yasuo is also extremely, extremely vulnerable to ganks and camp, this coming from a yasuo player and if your jungler can put him behind hes pretty useless
