Does anybody counter darius anymore?
I feel like nothing even matters as soon as it hits late game he can kill anybody

Darius has superior poke and all Trundle has over him is basically hoping his R is enough survive.

I've seen a lot of Trundles picked into me whenever I went Darius, but honestly, I saw little reason in it.

Darius poke is suprior only if he hits with blade. Trundle has better sustain better cc, better team presence, better splitpush., can build full armor and still do more than darius, can prevent darius from reaching any carry while they destroy him. If darius build any defensive items he only helps trundle, also trundle can freeze lane and farm under turret without fear thanks to his sustain. Darius is only stronger 1-5 all trundle has to do is to be patient. Darius will have to push and be aggressive which makes him easy gank target as he has no escapes.
Vistha Kai1 votesTrundle is melee, he can't get near minions without walking into Darius' danger zone. Trundle has to build an Hydra item to be of any use as a splitpusher, which additionally forces him to passively push the lane with every atatck. Darius has to buy none and between his E passive, Black Cleaver and true damage from his ult, he couldn't care less about the amount of armor Trundle can build. The only place Trundle is truly safe from Darius is under his tower, where Trundle can't freeze. Kit wise, they are both as useful for their teams, but due to the nature of Darius' passive, he's much superior, than Trundle, at stripping down enemies defenses thanks to Black Cleaver, because Trundle can only debuff one target.

SirSmokeysAlot1 votesIf you can dodge hid q blade Rene is a great pick. You have to dodge his q or that heal with wreck you. Go in stun q e back out for free trades. You have to be fast though.

Wînter Fox1 votesI legit ban Darius over Ekko. They're both unkillable with unnecessary heals, can't be escaped from, and deal ridiculous damage with 1 damage item before going full tank.
But at least Ekko's ult doesn't reset.

Anyone ranged (exception teemo who should get shat on post level 6) should give darius a hard time.
Basically, picking melee into darius usually isnt fun. Picking ranged into darius isnt fun for darius.
