If Riot is trying to combat toxicity, explain to me why the mastery emote was introduced?

The spamming of mastery emote is simply another way to portray toxicity and annoyances to the other team. It brings absolutely no other purpose aside from that. On the loading screen I can see you have mastery with that champ; that's great, why give players the ability to spam that during a game?

Because nothing is more glorious than using that emote when you just made one incredibly stupid play that got you and/or a teammate killed.

Really? I'm guessing you get really salty in game. You should bring a box of tissues to prepare for the next time someone spams thier mastery at you. or you can send them back to the fountain to spam their mastery emote there...

It's honestly pretty dumb. We had laugh and taunt, that should have been enough. Another emote is always nice I suppose, but I feel it really detracts the impact use of taunt and laugh in the community which is not a very good thing IMO.

I don't disagree that emote spam is dumb, but can't you only see your teammates' mastery on the loading screen?

Imo you should only be able to use the mastery emote shortly after a pentakill. :P
