Any chance Kennen is going to be looked at?

I have always enjoyed using Kennen, but I feel he is becoming extremely lack luster.

One of my fave builds on him top was WoTA, this way I could poke and still stay relevant in terms of sustain against all the other top lane bullies. Currently if you build Kennen AP, he doesn't do near enough damage with his AP scaling to touch any tanks top that build a single MR item. His HP and armor is so low that he can't trade or compete with any top lane bullies as well such as Fiora, Darius, Gnar, Garen and so fourth. So you are stuck having to go tank....which really is horrible on him, or becoming extremely dependant on your jungle.

Since his AP ratios are garbage, if you go tank you do absolutely no damage, and your main purpose in the game is to run in, ult and hope and pray your team cleans up, cause you're dead 2 seconds after that; even with a tanky build and you're outputting no damage as opposed to other tanks that at least have hp scaling damage or executes.

If you go AP, you still don't do enough damage to make a difference, and you're squishier than Sona who at least has sustain and can heal herself and in my opinion has a better ult.

I have recently tried playing him support which is also fun, but against most of the newly polished supports, Kennen really can't do much again mid to late game as he has no damage, no sustain and no health with a supp item build. I feel the ONLY way for Kennen to be relevant at the moment is to get a huge lead early game with 2 - 3 quick kills. If you just CS and play passive, any champ in any lane will just surpass him in terms of levelling skills and buying items that completely shut down any damage.

So hoping someone from Riot will answer and shed some light on where they are taking Kennen if anywhere at all.

i think hes better mid. the problem with him top is any bruiser can turret dive him even with his ult. hes prone to diving once the opponent gets tanky as he has no sustained damage to poke them down to low after a while.

I think with the AP item changes and Kennen's ult change he got put in a good spot, or rather better than he was before. Protobelt gave him more burst and better engage as well as CDR (an underrated stat being so ult-centered when before the item changes anything with CDR was a bad item on him). If anything should be changed about him short of a rework, I think maybe his ult cooldown should scale down a bit with level for late game since he relies on it heavily.

Kennen actually did have a buff on the PBE for next patch where it lowered his E's base damage very slightly and did full damage to minions, but it got reverted for the time being.

Kennen is already one of the strongest champs in the game in high elo and yet they're buffing him for some reason. Don't ask me to explain that one.

Sure, he can't kill tanks quickly, but what mage can? Now the entire enemy backline just by pressing R and hitting an hourglass? He does that pretty well.

I find it's all about his ult, after that, late game his Q basically has to hit to trigger his W (Assuming you dont have a 3rd auto attack) and his E is him basically going in for a suicide. If he doesn't get ahead, he is basically an ult time bomb that goes off and then he dies. With a lot of high mobility characters out now, his ult doesn't even necessarily guarantee a stun; you just need a flash, a zhonya, or mobility to get out.

I haven't seen ANYONE play Kennen in ages, so I'd like to see these high elo players winning with him.
