Cs gold vs kill gold

Outplaying someone and killing them takes more skill than right clicking minions when they're low. Why don't we get rewarded more gold for kills/assists? Idk, I just feel like it's harder to get a kill than it is to get 15-20cs.

The reward for killing an opponent is:

  • Receiving the kill gold
  • Removing from the map (so you can pressure objectives)
  • Denying them gold and experience (by letting their minions die to the tower while they are dead).

If you behave appropriately after a kill, you can easily get yourself a 600+ gold advantage and an experience lead.

Because then there would legitimately be no way to ever come back if you're behind. Every team would be 5 early game champions and just become team deathmatch.

Gold isn't all you even get from that kill, you deny them cs and exp which are the most important part of killing them.

because the game isnt about kills. its about objectives... and by limiting the amount of gold netted from killing a player limits the amount of snowballing in the game.

It actually is pretty tough to CS properly tbh... At least for me atm and from my understanding a lot of people.

Play Nasus. You typically have to last hit through constant harass, learn to farm under tower, you can't trade, and you have to maintain CS levels to match you opposing laner.

I main him but he taught me a lot of basic mechanics I would have not learned playing other champions.
