Let me set up this hypothetical: I am in an apartment with 3 other guys with League accounts. One of them is a smurf and admits to it while stomping a low bronze game. Riot proceeds to ban the IP, and now none of us get to play. How is that fair? Also, smurfing players would just not admit to smurfing if that were implemented. There is no true way to stop them.

HWID ban. Could be evaded, but takes more effort than IP ban evasion and can't really affect other people.

IP bans do nothing and just hurt everyone in public places or if you live with anyone who also plays league... Good job on not solving anything and just making things worst for others
