Can I have a few tips on my builds?

I just feel like I'm never building for the situation right. I have a few games here where I lost and I'd like to know what I could do to improve my builds. http://i.imgur.com/PxdQaTG.png I'm pretty sure this wasn't my build path. I build first then, and after that, and . I was going to build warmogs but then the game ended. If I could spot a mistake it woulld be buying instead of but, I'm not sure. I was laning in top lane against ezreal and, I won my lane. However, I got wrecked in team fights.

You need to build situationally. For Garen game, their team was mostly magic damage (even Ezreal is mixed damage), so it may have been better to rush spirit visage over dead man's plate. You can also try getting black cleaver, which helps your in-combat mobility enough to stick to a target, in addition to the armor shred.

For Heimerdinger game, were you matched against Malzahar? Because he can kill your turrets pretty easily and safely. You were countered in lane, so don't feel too bad about not doing well. That said, getting Zhonya's earlier would have been great given their heavy AD. Getting boots early is important, especially someone immobile like Heimerdinger.

Like 5manyzeros said, it's all about situation. However, most champions tend to have certain core items they almost have to buy. Examples: Vayne item 3153 Heimerdinger item 3157 Yasuo item 3087

It really depends on how you like to play the champion. When I go Riven , I rush both item 3134 and item 3158 for the early cooldown before I get hydra. However, most people will rush Hydra then go for either Black Cleaver or just straight tank.
