ADCs are quite useless atm.

As you might have noticed, Ziggs (or in general mages) botlane is a thing now. Why?

-Mages have way more basedamage (compared to 0 from ADCs) -Mages can waveclear better early, then poke under turret until the adc leaves lane and gets behind -The best performance of mages lies in the midgame, whereas the adcs' is in the late; not possible to achieve when massively behind, thus the game is already over at the 30 min mark due to the uselessness of adcs in the midgame

You might ask: "Then why are adcs still played competetively?"

Because teams in general tend to communicate more, which may lead into more focus on the botlane, helping the adc out

what i want: better earlygame for adcs

examples: buff their base ad stats and base damage of their abilities in general!

or do something about the fact, that an adc HAS to build 5 offensive items to be useful who ever saw an "adc" being good in a teamfight with more than 1 true defensive item? (not counting edge of night, maw or scimitar)

Don't flame me, teach me.

Want a better early game? Sacrifice some of that late game power you're not using.

Pretty sure if that was true you wouldn't have an adc every game, but we do. Your argument is invalid.

While I use this term loosely, the reason is "Sheeple". One pro uses one champion in one type of role, so suddenly everyone thinks that's the new meta, thinks that's how it has to be played now. It's part of the reason why we're having so many issues with some of our champions right now, and it's disgusting.

ADC, despite how underwhelming it might feel compared to the incomprehensible damage/sustain of either top or mid, or even jungle, is still a powerful role. Build efficiently enough and play smart, and you'll be on your way of being that one player that winds up tilting the self-proclaimed carry of the other team. It is true however, that it is still a very lackluster role, despite the damage it can bring, primarily due to a good number of ADC's being a late game role in a game that's being designed (with every forthcoming season) to be a short term session. It's putting the role in such a spot, that if they were to attempt to adjust effected champions properly, if they want to continue down this path of debauchery, they only impose the high risk of making it worse.

Right now a handful of ADC's and potential ADC's are high on the list of problems, thanks to lethality. But once that's taken care of, it feels apparent that they will either be in a slightly more balanced place than they were prior to this stupid damage spike caused by items that they probably have no business using, or they'll be back where they were before, and left crying for the attention they probably will not see in quite some time.

So, are ADC's in a bad spot (depending on what you consider bad)? Sure. Are they useless? Not at all.

While these champions keeps existing and being op bot lane will stay an aids fiesta.

That is the reason in pro play adc started to open with long sword +3 in order to sustain the imbalanced undodgeable poke. Now the pro's realized that adc are the support- therefore they open with boots+4.

Keeping this in mind, ziggs isn't that good because he has to open ring+2 pots, while varus and jhin can open boots+4. therefore, ziggs is inferior to varus and jhin.
