So what does the assassin rework really entail?
So recently I heard about an assassin rework, and since i mainly only play assassin (rengar) I wanted to know what exactly the changes would be.

Well, you see, we don't know. It is still ~3-4 months away, so why would we get a full change list now?
making assassins trash
it entails a bunch of developers living inside of a bubble and only emerging from that bubble to ramble on about the lies they tell themselves.
They talked about balance assassins, especially Rengar. They want to tone down the burst, so people can have more time to react, since right now, once any assassins (especially rengar) jumps you, you die. So it's just balancing. Kind of like the Mage rework. New kits. That stuff.
let us assume there is a new character in league of legends.
that character's job is to kill assassins and then escape.
it has a kit wherein if it is in range, it can at it's own decision engage on the assassin.
the assassin's escapes are overpowered by it's own pursuit mechanism
the assassin's damage is somehow rendered irrelevant.
while the new character has to be a little fed to do this,
the amount of gold on the target assassin is almost irrelevant. what matters is, does the assassin killer have 1-2 extra kills from a gank (the assassin needs about 10 to be even with that).
when the character makes it's assault, the assassin either:
- has a support nearby with their ult ready or
- is dead.

if such a character would exist that has this kind of relationship with the assassin class you would cry havoc.
and yet, you are ok with your class having this relationship with ADCs.
Well if it's anything like the ADC and Mage updates, it's going to put them in multiple lanes and make them much stronger than before. So the weeks following will be hell for anyone who hates assassins.
Rengar probably won't be Rengar anymore after the rework friend
