An idea to fix the: "Melee-Champions are boring statsticks"- problem
Greetings fellow summoners, My Name is SIR KLED and first of all i excuse for spelling mistakes, because my english is as bad as Ohmwrecker. Feel free to correct me or gift me Riot Points.
I Play a lot of immobile melee champs like
,
,
and co.
A lot of this type of Champs is their binary Gameplay.
You often can not do more then running in your enemies face and try to out-stat them.
You succes or you fail.
There is no in between.
This is not funny for your enemies too.
This gameplay sometimes can feel rly lackluster and is often critized on the boards/me and my friends.
These champs miss the kit to actually outplay your enemy. Jea i know, Trundle can do cool Things with the Pillar, but thats it. The other parts of his kit just let him Smash you harder.
A champ like
,
,
and so on can kill you even when behind, because they have a kit which allows them more possibilities.
They can punish your mistakes and do real OUTPLAYS.
How often do you saw such a Thing (like a lee escaping through the jungle or yasuo doing hasaki stuff and flashing his mastery Icon to laugh at you ) and thought: " Jea cool, i would do this too if my champ could do dat"
Dont understand me wrong, i dont want to give mobility and CC and superduperdamage to every melee champ, but i want to Change them to do more like "OUTNUMBER" you (with stats, you get it?)
Some Champions Need to be easy to Play. The aspect of Stat-checking might be important for the game, i dont know.
But there are some of this champs which do it right:
I rly love taric. Some People dont know, but he is a beast in Terms of pure duelling power. He has the highest AS Steroide in the game and good dmg/Utility. But unlike Garen, he can FAIL SO BADLY. You Need to have the perfect rythm with AAs and Spells to Keep his spamming alive. If he gets out of combat or interupts the chain of spells, he WILL be punished by longer CDs and less dmg. Also his stun can be dodged, but also be aimed well.
I dont like him, but he offers so what more than Garen, it is a shame. He can outplay his enemies, but they can also dodge his Axe and hook in many ways, to get the upper Hand.
I played some games of Olaf recently and i just love him. He is aswell a huge ball of stats (attackspeed, livestal, truedmg) and also tries to run you down, but he can mess up badly if he misses his axes.
If you still reading, here is my Idea to make this champs feel better.

I rly like the idea of this skills. Finally your weapon can do more then AAs. its like an AA you can miss. It gives you a Little bit more range to farm safer/hit enemies even if they think you cant.
I know a lot of rengar mains dont like his new Q, because it is clunky (it really is), but i love the Idea of this spell.
It is a Basic Attack you can mess up, but you are rewarded for hitting it (Yas stacks, Rengos superdmg, Sejus slows/stacks)
Imagine If
Q wouldnt be a Better Auto attack you cant miss (even though you flashed, but he kills you with it) but something like a swing in cone form (like Mordekaiser E) or something like that.
It still could silence, but he can do soooo much more with it.
He could attack backwards, check bushes, calculate enemies dashes and stike them down ( grounded on it maybe?)
Or if Trundle´s Q would be more than just an AA-reset which steals your BF.
I Think this would make them less binary without turning them into Flashmaster2000s.
