Miss Yasuo

Patch 4.21 notes

I used to play yasuo. I even got a penta in silver 1 in which I snowballed off of a proxy singed. I rode shyvana's ult into the back of the enemy line and windwalled the ad carry and turned a disadvantage into an advantage for my team- it really felt like I was a samurai riding a dragon.

For the person who designed yasuo, I want to say thank you. He was the most fun champion I ever played.

But I miss him...

I can't play yasuo like this. I can play yi, jax, and even olaf (to some degree though not as well as he was before end of season 3). I really see potential with kalista if he didn't die instantly every time we try to pull off a combo, he's just too squishy...

I just finished a game playing against a yasuo who went mid, I was gone for the first 10 minutes with annie due to dns error that required me to restart my computer. The yasuo was level 9 and had all his base items and i proceeded to kill him over and over with the help of a camping amumu. It really felt bad because he had such a lead and he was playing at gold level but because of his lack of ability to control situations he was pushed out of the game and I overtook him on experience and they surrendered around 30 minutes.

Was anyone else hoping for a female Yasuo picture

I believe it's why the OP is currently at -3.

OP, try your Kindergarten/First Grade grammar skills, and try using some personal pronouns. First impressions are everything.

With that said, yes, Yasuo does occasionally feel underpowered when I play against him in mid. But then one of them go top or I'm in another lane and he's mid and he gets fed all goddamn game. Purrhaps it is not that Yasuo is weak, it's that people finally know how to really handle him even when he's ahead.

He's always been fairly weak to camping, but I think with the recent buff hes in a good spot if not OP now, hard to tell still

I don't see/play yasuo enough to say whether he's in a good spot right now. What I will say is that the Yasuo you faced was absolutely not playing at gold level for any champion if he lost an 8 level, probably ~3K gold advantage, especially since Yasuo is strongest in mid-late game to begin with anyways. Like, with even only 1 or 2 wards and just general not being an idiot, he would have never let you back into the game.

You do gain exp at an accelerated rate when you are that far behind. I just played super safe with level 2 boots and ruby under tower and amumu was very motherly to my lane.

Oh yea and their graves was afk like me for the start of the game.

He's fine, he is a squishy high-skill cap all-in champion who requires extensive knowledge of trading and following up. If this specific yasuo was good, he would simply deny you because you were under levelled with a ward on each side of the lane to see amumu coming, simply wind walling his q completely negating his engage. Instead, he probably just pushed you to tower and stuck around waiting for the wave to push back like all of the other low winrate Yasuo's. It's the player not the champion.

from one side we have an argument that he works and can do wonders from the other we have an argument that his playstyle either dominates or backfires and his realy pesky ballance (nerf something and he might return as freelo but pull one string too hard and he becomes 0) and his cross role kit (partialy an assasin, partialy a fighter, partialy an adc which again means that playing with him can be tough nut to crack because you can do everything but never as good as champions designed for those tasks)

i love yasuo and i play him quite often but i just fell like rework is the only future in which he gets stable, fun to play and fun to play againtst
