Do players no longer hate Blitzcrank?

Blitzcrank is my favorite champion. Just being Blitzcrank you asserts dominance and zone the enemy team away :D, and I genuinely get happy when the enemy team starts typing stuff like wishing me cancer or shooting my mom. Why? Because it greatly makes me feel that I did my job right. Nowadays nobody does that to me at all, quite the opposite, I had instances of the enemy commending me for my pulls being on-point and such. While receiving praise is quite nice and dandy I still sometimes miss that "trolling" feeling that you get when you successfully grab-pull an enemy and he rages in /all chat. I am thinking the reports and the Tribunal worked as intended.

blitz is fine, people has gotten better at dodging his Q so it's kind of a miracle when he does connects and gets to do a play

He was good only vs new players. I'm not sure that he is even good anymore after the MS nerf.

Blitz is the devil you know. Yeah, he's annoying and he can ruin the game with one well timed hook on the right person, but at his core that's literally all he is: a Q bot. He has one frustrating ability.

In today's League, there's are a growing number of champions possessing kits that you wish only had one frustrating ability. Blitz is small potatoes compared to that kind of cancer.

I just the fact that the hitbox of his Q is dumb as hell, sometimes misses u by an inch and sometimes hooks u by a mile...

Personally for me, I can certainly dodge his grabs, or at the very least position myself behind minions. But I can never trust my lane partner to do the same, and if my partner is grabbed, I find myself at a loss for trying to counter it.

I'd say from a few reasons: First is that mobility creep has been steadily nerfing his effectiveness, since he almost entirely revolves around his rocket grab skill-shot. And riot harshly nerfed his movement boost. Two is that there's more variety of champions who either benefit from the gap closer (such as graves & zed), or can protect against an ally being yanked away (like kalista & tahm). And three; there's significantly more abusive, overloaded, overpowered &/or problematic champions on the field now.

I've only played against a blitz once or twice but when i figured out his grab limitations he became one of my favorite cc targets ( let him hit grab, cc right before hook, kill his carry )
