Besides the fact that it's a pet peeve of him, Ryze's Rune Prison offers absolutely no counter-play when you play a melee. He already does a unhealthy amount of the damage, the least Riot could do is make him earn the snare by making it a skillshot (or removing/reworking it, whatever works)

At least it isn't like annie's, which is pretty much instant death.
At least you can always 'counter play' by summoning an Army of Minions to besiege Helm's Deep between you and him, which would require 2-3 spells to clear out before he gets back to you.
Well somebody's gotta keep the assassins in check.
That being said, a nerf to his speed boost is probably called for.
They should make it into a trap. But he can only have 1-2 at time. They no longer snare, but slow for a few seconds and silence for 1 second. No scaling in duration.
