Can someone give me an answer about this?

Tell me if someone has said this before, but if a champion has such a negative stigma around them that even playing them makes you out to be a bad person, then has riot not failed at making that champion a passable addition to league?

Look at the boards and how many posts are hateful towards a certain champion, then look at their ban rate, and ask how many players have had awful experiences with them. Does this not appear to be a failure in the design of a champion?

It doesn't matter if they are or are not balanced, but the simple fact that they are so resoundingly hated and made fun of by everyone, including riot members, then does this mean nothing?

And you know exactly what champion I'm talking about because they are such an issue in the game that there needs to be some reaction from riot besides a numbers tweak and a grand total of 4 non-bug fix changes since season 5 started. Even if it's an announcement of a rework, that'd be more suitable for such an issue.

And simply through experience, I know that it is more than just the vocal minority that has issues with this champion, so that is by no means a valid excuse.

Please let me know if I am in some way mistaken, or, if you're a riot member, why this hasn't been addressed yet.

That is hard to tell honestly. Some people hate champions because they force a meta a certain way, but lets face it the boards seem to all be adc mains. They complain about champs like Zyra, lulu, zed, talon, fiora, rengar, yasuo. Who all make adc life rough in lane, or slaughter tem the rest game.

There's a difference between the vocal minority complaining about flavor of the month champions or supports, because those champions often get changed in some way.

Zyra? They're active working on changing her plants.

Lulu? Back when lane lulu was being a nuisance her laning tool got nerfed.

Zed? Not really complained about that often because he has the same weakness as kat and most other assassins, CC.

Talon? Lethality got nerfed and he became more balanced.

Fiora? A problem champion still.

Rengar? He only just got to a passable place from being on the opposite end of the spectrum: being under powered in the meta.

Yasuo, the whole point of this post? 4 seconds. Nothing appropriate to the scale of problem he is as a champion, and the YEARS that it has persisted.

to put it simply no

they did do with with teemo, they wont do it with yasuo/lulu/cait

Cait literally just got a very reasonable nerf, and lulu really isn't an issue, so says her 47% winrate.

And on that point, they've done nothing about the major issues with ryze either in the time he's been sub 45% winrate in solo queue

Keep in mind that many people love playing those champions as well. For every hate post about a champion a dozen mains seem to flock to the post, and many of them are positive people who keep an open mind about their champion. Yes champions like Yasuo have bad stigmas attached to them, but the majority of people I talk to Yasuo about don't mind the champion.

Many people dislike Yasuo and similar champs mostly due to the frequency with which they are seen, which is simply a testament to how much of the playerbase enjoys them. I can say that I personally ban Lee Sin a lot, not because I dislike the champion at all, but because I enjoy seeing other champions too and opening up the jungle to other champions a bit.

Many people who ban Yasuo are the same way, they ban him because they enjoy seeing other champions because so much of the playerbase loves him that he has a very high pickrate regardless of how good/bad he is.

Many of the "permabanned" champions (which haven't been anywhere close to permabanned from my experiences so far) aren't actually that good, people dislike them because they see them so much, and the reason they see them so much is because they are popular champions regardless of winrate. If anything that is a positive sign IMO.

You have a valid point there in that many people like to play him, and they are just in defending a champion they enjoy. I personally disagree with the "they ban him because they enjoy seeing other champions" statement because in my experience I see people banning him because they personally don't want to deal with him, but I only have my limited perspective to see things with.

Draven made Tyler1 toxic, ban the champion from the game, not Tyler.
