RTS Style League of Legends

I'm not a huge fan of unlocking my camera, and so when I play on the red side of Summoners Rift or Howling Abyss, then I get tripped up by where skill shots are coming from and such. I was wondering if Riot could make it an option to have my camera angled from a bird's eye view or just be able to zoom out farther so I can see more of the map at any given time. I could just adjust and get used to moving around my camera on the spot BUT I feel like Riot could easily make this an option for players with that separate preference. Anyone have this similar predicament and would like this option? I wanna know and see if Riot could make this a thing.
