Can we stop pretending new Akali is any more mobile than champs we already have?

Stop acting like her mobility is anything new or insane. Almost all of her mobility is gated by skillshots and none of it is any worse than what we already have. Even her ultimate, the only mobility in her kit besides the backflip on her E that isn't dependent on hitting skillshots, has a big proper cooldown now. She's arguably less mobile than current/old Akali, who can blink over walls and dash to a target enemy three times with resets on kill.

Is she going to be annoying to deal with as an immobile mage? Yes, obviously. But what else is new. Zed, Talon, Yasuo, Fizz, OLD AKALI, LeBlanc, etc have all been in the game for years already. Assassins being annoying for mages to deal with is NOTHING NEW, and new Akali is less mobile than half the champs I just listed.

It's no wonder nobody takes this forum seriously.

yes we have other hyper mobile champs. I think the point is that the community is sick of these hyper mobile, mechanically superior champs, that for some reason also have higher tuned damage than champions without mechanical advantages. We are sick of broken champions in the game, and honestly most people would probably love to see most of these champs outright deleted.

Her mobility isn't what makes Akali a toxic champion. The fact that how overloaded she is with too many shit shoved in is what makes her toxic. Even with the removal of heal of true stealth she is still overloaded and she still can heal since she can buy gunblade and death's dance because of having both AD and AP scaling. Counter building her is already out of the question. Oh you built MR over my ap build? It's ok, i go AD!

That champion needs a re-rework by someone who understands game health. It's clear CT is too far up his own ass to even think that shoving like 8 mechanics in just a passive and Q as a starter is an absolute shit idea.

Akali has 3 separate forms of MS steroid spread between her passive and W, a stealth in W (not "conventional" mobility like dashes and blinks, but going stealth nonetheless provides mobility in a literal sense), 4 dashes spread between E and R where 3 are free-directional nor need a condition while the last 1 works on a condition it has infinite range, a cone slow and a line stun and both of which are free-directional (isn't mobility, but it hinders others, so it's "relative mobility").

That's pretty damn mobile, even for a mobile champion.
