How to Beat Ahri in lane
Playing against Ahri has been a nightmare for me. I used Jayce, Ekko, Diana, and Zed against her. She's free this week too :'(. Please share some counters and tips on how to beat Ahri.

if you want to punish her build grail/rod of ages/abyssal as a first item -> or play an AD champ like yasuo or zed who can really put a dent into her regardless of build (cutlass punishes her because her poke against you will make her oom quickly and then shes free, or she just tries to all in you and surprise, she doesn't have the damage to do it because shes inherently weak damage kit.
(or play malzahar, herp derp, i pressed R, go kill ahri team) (god damn those malz mains)

first of all, not all champions are meant to be beatten in lane. ie lane bullies ahri can be beaten in lane but just wanna let you know that first vs ahri her entire kit revolves around her e so i probably would all in after you dodge her e itemwise, if you're winning i would go a snowball item like ludens if you're losing i'd get a catch up item like abyssal or athene or maw if you're ad. if all else fails, roam alot
Early wave clear / burst dmg are your best bets. LB , veigar , viktor , Zed , annie do well agaisnt her
How did you lose playing zed XD not trying to be a dick but most people run mag resist playing mid for runes. And since zed is ad she probably does too. Meaning you have upper hand. Until level 6 or have basics and poke from shadows. Only thing is if

at level 6 she basically has 4 flash's within 30 seconds. I would say based off how people have paired against me mid. Is outfarm and burst me before 6 and dodging her charm. glhf
Stay behind minions so you can not be charmed. Farm those little creeps safely while dodging her q. When you dodge or she misses her charm go in on her, you should win the trade due to having more available spells to fight with. Getting hit by her q will happen, just make sure not to get hit by the return portion of her q. Despite nerfs she still has a lot of sustain so poking her does not feel as good as it should.
I find the lane phase vs Ahri to be fair and exciting or boring depending on the Ahri. You just need more practice vs Ahri, she is in no way oppressive to lane against. Ahri is just to safe and has cc (and true damage) that makes her relevant all game no matter how poorly her lane phase goes.
Play ap 
mid and proceed to out trade her at early levels.
Almost impossible to beat a good Ahri with Ekko. I main Ekko.
Good Ahri's will use their max range to the best of their abilities, and just punish you if you attempt to go in on them. With Ekko, you might be lucky to get a Q off maybe but expect your ass to be charmed to death if you decide to blink in for a hit gg.
Gonna say pick Zed, or maybe Ziggs and throw bombs at her from your nexus and spam laugh.
When well played, Ezreal can absolutely destroy Ahri with ease.
Then again, she can just push against you and roam down bot for kills, so it might be tough anyway.
